Cynthia and Walter have been happily married for close to 60 years, but Cynthia no longer shares the same world as Walter. She drifts in and out of her own world now, leaving Walter behind, forgotten and isolated without her. He is determined amidst the uncertainty and confusion to keep their memories of love alive. Walt remains her loyal constant companion caring for Cynthia the only way he knows how with blind faith that they will one day find each other.
This is a short story about love and hope, the lost memories, the turmoil and those left behind, with raw feelings from those living with, and affected by Alzheimer’s Disease.

my first short story
After growing up in a peaceful, remote seaside village with her mum, Jo moves to the city to pursue her acting career. She returns home for a short break expecting to find herself taking strolls along the beach and catching up with her mum, instead she is about to discover she isn’t who she thought she was, and neither is her mum.
A man she never knew existed shows up on her doorstep and exposes truths that will turn her life upside down.
Will Jo be able to move forward and start a new life and leave her mum behind.
This is a short story about lies and deception, but also loss and forgiveness
